Bjorn Rock

Bjorn is a singer, composer, songwriter, and pianist.

He grew up in the Urals. Both of his parents graduated from music school and were members of a vocal-instrumental ensemble. He studied music with his grandmother, a renowned music teacher. At the age of 17, he moved to Saint Petersburg, where he graduated from Saint Petersburg University.

In Saint Petersburg, he participated in several rock bands. He worked on arrangements and wrote lyrics for songs in both Russian and English.

He took part in the Hans Zimmer competition and considers himself largely Zimmer’s student.

He has lived in different countries.

He has always held an active civic stance.

In 2021, he moved to one of his favorite warm countries to record an album.

From March to December 2022, he created the Free Russia Anthem.
In 2023, he released the short “ceremonial” version of the Anthem.
On March 17, 2024, the song “Noon,” dedicated to the event of the same name, was released.
